Kings Elliot Blue at Last

It’s taken a while – but here it is at last: The debut album from the much-loved and much-travelled singer/songwriter Kings Elliot. Entitled “Born Blue”, it contains recent singles including “The Promise”, “Starcrossed” and “Love and Landslides” as well as older songs like “I’m Getting Tired of Me” and “Call Me a Dreamer” which have become staples of her live shows. With all songs written or co-written by Kings Elliot, production was shared by her with halfrhymes, James Conway Ellis and Adam Yaron. “Born Blue” is out now via Universal.

Keeping a folder of her favourite songs from age seven, Kings Elliot always dreamed of being a singer. Moving to London in order to develop her songwriting craft in one of the mushrooming “pop schools”, she learnt much more about the workings of the music world, she says, whilst working for a record company later on. Using her severe bouts of depression as the subject matter of quite a few of her own songs has earned Kings Elliot a large community of fans who often share her predicament. However, her songs are strong, beautiful and memorable enough to appeal to anyone who appreciates the art of writing classic and classy melodies. She celebrates the release of “Born Blue” with a headline UK and European tour in the coming months.
