Milune Feeling Hearts Lust
Out now on Sony is 21year old Swiss-American singer Milune’s debut album, “Hearts Lust”. Following on from a sole EP, “rabbit holes”, which earned her an “Best Talent” award from national radio SRF3, “Hearts Lust” introduces a singer with a very clear vision of where she wants to be and what she wants to say.
Born in New York, Milune was introduced early into the secrets of a musical life by her mother, a successful music business professional. Returning to Zurich with her family when she was six, she began to take singing and ballet lessons. Dancing and singing on various stages throughout her teenage years, she released her first single in 2022 and soon found her way into the higher echelons of Switzerland’s pop scene, taking part, for instance, in the SUISA Songwriting Camp.
Citing influences like Billie Eilish, Clairo and Lana del Ray, “Heats Lust” sees Milune exploring a wide range of queer emotions, all in the service of self-realisation and emotional as well as sexual fulfilment.
