Swiss Music Export Elects New Board

At the general assembly on 26 November 2024, five proven and experienced professionals from the Swiss music business were elected to the completely new board of Swiss Music Export. This marks the preliminary conclusion of an internal restructuring process at Swiss Music Export.
The new board members:
- Fabienne Schmuki
- Fabienne Wolfschläger
- François Küffer
- Hazbi Avdiji
- Kamil Kostka
Laurence Desarzens will remain on the board as president for a transitional period of one year to ensure continuity. Jean Zuber will continue in his role as managing director and Joana Obieta as project manager. FCMA with Albane Dunand Schlechten will remain SME’s office in the Romandie.
SME would like to express its sincere thanks to the departing board members Yvonne Dünki (Swiss Interpreter’s foundation SIS) and Urs Schnell (FONDATION SUISA) for their many years of work on the board, particularly during the restructuring period. SME would also like to thank Pro Helvetia and the Phonogram Producers‘ Foundation for their long-term support.
Swiss Music Export is the point of contact for the professional Swiss music industry and supports it in its efforts to export music abroad. SME creates and promotes networks that music professionals need for marketing. Key contacts for SME are those entities that represent artists, bands and artistic projects and work in their interest (e.g. labels, managements, artists, agencies, publishers).
