Switzerland Meets Linecheck

A festival/conference with a genuinely fearless and idiosyncratic music programme, Linecheck has established itself over its ten years of existence as a place to discover music – often experimentally electronic – that rarely gets a look-in at the more conventional European business get-togethers. This year, the programme ranges from the anarchic style-mash-up of Kenyan producer Kabeaushé to Montreal-based multi-disciplinary artist Tati au Miel. It even features a world first, an exhibition of Ramones drummer Marky Mark’s drawings. Plus, of course, a fine selection of workshops and networking events.

Having sampled the Linecheck atmosphere for the first time in 2022, Swiss Music Export are now confirmed fans. Thus, Presented by SME in cooperation with FONDATION SUISA and Pro Helvetia, we will conduct our Swiss Business Mixer, complete with Raclette and plenty of Swiss wine.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, crème solaire will not be able to play at Linecheck Festival 2024. Fortunately, another Swiss act jumped in last minute and will be performing instead:

Camilla Sparksss

Sassy, ironic, sharp, volatile, vulnerable, in turns hard and tender, old-fashioned and futuristic – nobody makes their synths bubble, squeak and rumble quite like Camilla Sparksss does.
