Andrea Bignasca Dealing With a Stranger

“Stranger”, the fourth solo album from Springsteenesque singer-songwriter Andrea Bignasca, is available now on Radicalis Music.

Bignasca, hailing from the Southern, Italian part of Switzerland, clearly is a fan of guitar- and pathos-driven songs in the classic American mode of big choruses, big vocals and big sentiments. These, for obvious reasons, evolve around impending fatherhood. “In Every Beat of Every Song, I explore the journey of navigating the uncertainties before embracing fatherhood—the struggle of letting go of my personal plans and accepting a new role, hoping, and eventually realizing that the two aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive», he writes in his press release. And the remaining eleven songs of this unashamedly emotional record don’t stray far away from the sort of thoughts that might change our lives. All wrapped in beautiful melodies, passionately delivered, of course.
