DANA Feeling Teary
Actually, DANA has absolutely no reason to feel sad. After a successful summer packed with appearances at major festivals, her new album “Teary-Eyed” is in the shops as we type via Mouthwatering Records.
Born into a family of musicians, Dana Burkhard never had any doubt about one day being a professional musician. Raised in Biel – a bilingual city between the French and German parts of Switzerland -, she now lives in Zurich where she has established herself as a popular live act and an even more popular backing singer and co-writer with many successful fellow Swiss acts. The songs she keeps for herself are a pleasingly catchy mixture of personal lyrics and poppy choruses.
Apart from recording this, her teary-eyed second album, DANA has been busy with songwriting sessions with other successful artist including Remo Forrer, Dodo, Caroline Alves and the title track of the box office hit movie “Platzspitzbaby”.
