9013 Kilometres with Loco Escrito

Released at the end of September via Universal Music Switzerland, Loco Escrito’s new album, “9013”, celebrates the physical and mental journey between the artist’s twin cultural backgrounds. 9013 kilometres (5600 miles) is the distance between Switzerland, where Loco Escrito has spent most of his life, and Medellin, Columbia, where he was born and where he has returned several times to recharge his batteries in the past few years.

His summery mixture of Reggaeton and Latin grooves has turned Loco Escrito into one of the most reliable hit makers in Switzerland. His 2020 LP “Estoy Bien” hit the very top and remained in the charts for 33 weeks; the follow-up, “Fernando”, reached number 2 in 2022. Three years in a row he walked off with the “Best Hit” award at the Swiss Music Awards, doubling up in 2021 as the “Best Male Act”.
