Psycho Weazel Defining The Context

Preparing the way for the impending release of their debut album, Psycho Weazel have put together a new EP, “context”. It was released on 7 July 2023 via Irascible Records.  

Psycho Weazel aka Neuchatel-based producers and remixers Ivo Roxo and Léo Besso have long enjoyed a deserved reputation as leading lights in the French Swiss electronic scene. Two of the new EP tracks present the duo’s penchant for complex, drum’n’bass-inspired breakbeats. The third, “torse”, showcases their ability to find the right voice to complement their instrumentals. This time, it is the French duo Bolides who provide the softly chansonesque vocals to create an alluring contrast to the urgency of the beats.
