Carla Durisch Just Wants to Dance
Zurich-based DJ and producer Carla Durisch’s long overdue debut EP, “I Just Wanna Dance”, is out now on Crosstown Rebels, the legendary London-based label founded by ex-Ministry of Sound A&R man Damian Lazarus. Apart from two tracks created solely by Carla, the EP contains three versions of the title track, including a remix by Seth Troxler, and vocal contributions from the Amsterdam-based Surinamese singer, Nanghiti.
Moving to Berlin, she continued to hone her turntable skills, launching her weekly mix series, the “Sunday Sessions”. Returning to Switzerland in 2019, her deep and energetic sets became a fixture in some of the more adventurous clubs around, helping to spread her reputation internationally. Carla will celebrate the release of “I Just Wanna Dance” with a number of sets alongside Damian Lazarus at the Ibiza Club, Hï.
