For Michael Benjamin, „The World Is Still Beautiful“

Michael Benjamin’s new album “The World is Still Beautiful” is out now on Berlin-based Allrooms Agency. It is the Zurich-based singer/songwriter’s first record under his own name. He was previously known as Native.

Benjamin has been honing his craft for a good ten years, including a two-year stint in Los Angeles. Whilst several of his songs have notched up an impressive number of streaming clicks, two singles, “Don’t Forget Me” and “Guilty”, made it into the TV Show, “Shameless”. Not an artist often suffering from writer’s block, he has written around thirty songs in the past two years, whittling the number down to the dozen that make up “The World is Still Beautiful”. Benjamin fits neatly into the classic singer/songwriter mould. Warm voice and acoustic guitar are the centre of attention, with occasional flourishes of strings and piano adding texture and variety.
