Evelinn Trouble’s Extended “A Blue December Calendar”

Fresh from the release of her fantastic new album, “Longing Fever” (Mouthwatering Records), Evelinn Trouble has returned to something that could almost be called a tradition by now – the musical A Blue December Calendar. Launched in 2018, like a conventional Christmas calendar, it starts on 1 December and ends on Christmas eve, theoretically, with a window to open each day, revealing a brand-new one-minute track by “artists you a) already love or b) haven’t heard of yet.”

This year, however, the festive period à la Trouble is newly extended to pass Christmas and reach all the way to New Year’s Eve! Produced in collaboration with BlauBlau Records, it focuses entirely on Swiss acts, including many championed by Swiss Music Export, for instance Melissa Kassab. Camilla Sparksss, Dino Brandão + Mel, Domi Chansorn, Nadja Zela, Erika Stucky, Odd Beholder, and – a special treat this! – Crimer in a duet with La Trouble herself.
