Back in June we announced in this space the release of his latest record, a 12” entitled “On a Canvas Lived a Baby”. Now follows a very special album that further underlines this pioneering and fascinating electronica composer’s growing stature. “Michal Turtle Reinterpreted”, released on 23 October 2020 by Planisphere Editorial, is a collection of remouldings of his compositions by artists including Laurel Halo (US), Neue Grafik (FR), Felicia Atkinson (FR), Lucrecia Dalt (COL), D.K. (FR), Nick Höppner (DE), Luca Durán (CH), and Object Blue (UK).

By empathizing with this forward-looking impulse from the past, the unknown paths of music in the future should be defined.
