Al Pride Rolling along Sweetly
Barely waiting to catch their breath after the release of a 4-track EP “Spruce”, the hydra-like Al Pride return with a new album, their fourth. Entitled “Sweet Roller”, it contains all tracks from “Spruce”, plus four new ones. “Sweet Roller” was released on 28 August via Radicalis.
Recently expanding their line-up to include brass and extra percussion, fronted by both female and male vocalists, Al Pride serve up a rich buffet of creamy pop songs with hints of funk, reggae, jazz and other danceable grooves. The band will be celebrating the release with a tour of Switzerland and Germany, beginning in early September.
