Prince Jelleh Is “Done”

Prince Jelleh Is “Done”

The title of his debut album is utterly misleading: Prince Jelleh isn’t yet “Done” at all, he has only just begun. Having recently joined the Lauter collective of young musicians, “Done” was released via Lauter on 27 March 2020. The Prince, aka Lukas Fuchs from Winterthur, has already made very long strides in his short musical career.

Whilst the two previously released EPs contained a relatively straight-forward brand of poppy folk, he has added all sorts of elements from reggae, rock, strange synths and weird jokes to his good-humoured uptempo groove to arrive at a his own style of raucous and bouncy, sometimes witty, sometimes just a little bit melancholy, pop song.

In February Prince Jelleh played with The Gardener & The Tree as support in Germany  and will support them again on their October European tour.
