Camilla re-Sparksss!

“Brutal” was the title of Camilla Sparksss’s last album offering, released in spring 2019. Now, Camilla and fifteen fellow studio mavericks have revisited that volcano of a record and produced a collection of remixes. The riveting results are gathered together for another album, not unreasonably entitled “Brutal Remix”. It was released on 21 February via On the Camper Records.

Sassy, ironic, sharp, volatile, vulnerable, in turns hard and tender, old-fashioned and futuristic – nobody makes their synths bubble, squeak and rumble quite like Camilla Sparksss does. Adding yet more spice with their remixes are French trans house beat maker Fakear, Rebeka Warrior (Sexy Sushi/Kompromat), Swiss beat tailor Bit-Tuner, American electronica wiz Mike Mare (Dälek), Jazz drummer Kevin Shea, Mexican trip-hoppers Tam Bor, psychedelic pop band Monte Mai, and many more.
