Swiss artists amongst the highlights of Pop-Kultur Berlin 21. – 23. August 2019
The “Pop-Kultur”-Festival was launched in 2015 and, after debuting in the grounds of the legendary Berghain club, has now settled in and around the Kulturbrauerei. Thanks to an unusual, three-tiered concept that includes the commissioning of works especially for the event and asks established artists to actively seek a dialogue with newcomers in words and deeds, the festival has quickly acquired an enthusiastic audience, including a swiftly growing number of music business professionals.
Three acts from Switzerland are appearing live at this year’s edition of Pop-Kultur Berlin – Anna Aaron (a singer/songwriter with strong melodies and subtle emotions), Camilla Sparksss (powerful and super-witty techno-pop), and Odd Beholder (moody post-trip-hop). This message comes from the festival programmers: “This year, we are particularly looking forward to Anna Aaron, Camilla Sparksss and Odd Beholder”. Who are we to disagree?
