Wolfman on the prowl

11 May saw the release of Wolfman’s “Mark My World (Remix EP)”. It contains a collection of remixes of the lead track from their second EP “Mark My World” by Rearte (Miteinander-Collective), Bigeneric (Marco Repetto/Grauzone), Marlon (Hans-Jakop Mühlethaler/Lapcat), Tillman & de Adi (Jakobskapelle-Collective), and Alessandro Gianelli (Egopusher). Wolfman are Angelo Repetto (guitar, electronica, vocals) and Katerina Stoykova (vocals, percussion, electronica). They specialise in atmospheric electronica-pop with a driving dance beat.

This is what UK’s famemagazine.com had to say in a feature about the duo: “When I received the video for Mark My World, a song from a Zurich based duo (Katerina Stoykova & Angelo Repetto), I found myself compulsively hitting refresh every time the song ended. Some hooks just get you like that. They somehow manage to pinpoint something open-ended in you and lock into whatever that is – quenching a thirst that was there all along, even if you didn’t care to notice it. This stuff is syrupy, staticky, electric, sensual and extremely stylish, both sonically and visually.”
