Le Roi Angus with new album
2 February sees the release of Le Roi Angus’s second album, “Est-ce que tu vois le tigre?”. Taking their inspiration from the more psychedelic corners of French rock history as well as the loud British guitar tradition and contemporary bands like Thee Oh Sees, this young quintet from Geneva has swiftly found its own idiosyncratic style of jangling, twanging and joking. The latter quality, humour, is especially useful when it comes to producing memorable video clips.
Le Roi Angus are signed to the Geneva-based Cheptel Records label and to Echo Orange in France.
