Neutral Zone go Hogofogo
Neutral Zone release their fourth album “Hogofogo” on 3 November via Salvation Records/ Cargo Records (UK/Europe) and DALA Produkte/Irascible Music (Switzerland). The quartet is led by the Winterthur-based producer and multi-instrumentalist David Langhard. Clearly inspired by the likes of Kraftwerk, Neu and Giorgio Moroder, the band create a bouncy kind of analogue-synth-pop full of zesty rhythms, euphoric whooshing noises and lyrics about cycling champions.
For twenty years now, David Langhard has beavered away in his Winterthur studio with his collection of synths, guitars and countless other noise-making tools. Compulsively and brilliantly creative, he has worked under a variety of guises, including Howlong Wolf and Admiral James T. He has produced fantastic albums for others, including The Golden and Verena Von Horsten, and he keeps popping up in all sorts of friends’ bands to supply his instrumental skills.
Neutral Zone support the release of “Hogofogo” with a tour of the UK, starting on 3 November in Lancaster and ending on 8 November at the Social in London. This is followed by a tour of Switzerland, with more dates to be added.
