Carrousel keep on turning

Carrousel – aka Sophie Burande and Léonard Gogniat from canton Jura – release their fourth album, “Filigrane”, on 29 September. Recorded with a first-rate group of guest musicians at ICP Studios in Brussels, the duo – both originally accordionists – have not lost the knack for subtle and yet catchy songs that live and breathe from an almost telepathic understanding between the two musicians.

Following on from “L’Euphorie” (2013), “Filigrane” is released in Switzerland by Melo-Man/Carrousel (distributed by Radicalis Music) and in Germany by Jazzhaus Records.

To celebrate the release, the band is undertaking a massive tour of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, starting on 2 November in Reutlingen and ending on 13 January in Bern. So far, 26 dates are confirmed, with many more to come.
