Here come the new Baba Shrimps
Released on 23 June 2017, Baba Shrimps’ second album “Road to Rome” has already earned them a serious number of airplays in the German part of Switzerland, and an acoustic live performance at Radio SRF3. Choc-a-bloc full of hummable tunes, the tracks were recorded in London with David Kosten. The producer (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everyting, Faultline, etc.) certainly wouldn’t have spent his time with this band if he hadn’t seen some serious potential in their songs. He has helped them greatly by sharpening their melodic focus and crafting a contemporary pop sound that doesn’t lose any of the energy of their live performances. Throughout, the trio’s vocal harmonies are a joy to hear. Baba Shrimps’ “Rome to Rome” is released by Sony.
