Bitch Queens spreading L.O.V.E.

“Twelve songs…that just by hearing them make you raise your middle finger against the mediocrity in rock music”, said UK Metal Hammer about Bitch Queens’ last album. They might as well write the same thing about the Basel quartet’s latest opus, “L.O.V.E.”. Formed in 2008, the band are steeped in the resolutely non-PC and yet deeply invigorating spirit of New York Dolls. Masters of the short, sharp hook-laden musical adrenalin boost, Bitch Queens have toured the world and become a fiercely well-honed rock’n’roll unit.

As ever, Bitch Queens wear their heart on their sleeve with song titles like “Anti-Social”, “Naked or Denim” or – best of all – “Techno Is Dead”. “L.O.V.E.” is out now on vinyl in three different colours, plus black, on LuxNoise (Switzerland), Ghost Highway Recordings (Spain) and Savage Magic Records (USA). The CD is released by LuxNoise only. The band begins supporting their raucous new release with an extensive tour of Spain in May.
