As in previous years, Swiss Music Export will once again be in partnership with the Reeperbahnfestival in Hamburg from 25 – 28 September 2013. The by now traditional “Swiss Business Mixer” will take place on Friday, 27 September. So far, the following Swiss Artists are confirmed to perform in the official festival programme, Dagobert, Oy, Pegasus and We Invented Paris. With Swiss Music Export to Waves Vienna 2013
Only in its third year, the Waves showcase and conference festival in Vienna already involves a dozen stages and – at the time of writing – eighty artists. Waves has quickly established itself not just as a business gateway to Austria, but also to the surrounding Eastern European countries, including Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
This year’s Waves Vienna takes place from 3 to 6 October 2013. Professionals booking through Swiss Music Export will enjoy a special discount four-day-ticket fee of 65 Euro instead of 125 Euro.
An SME Business Mixer will take place on Friday, 4 October, complete with a showcase performance of My Hearth Belongs to Cecilia Winter. On the same day, SME will also organise a “Matchmaking” event.
Two bands from Switzerland are so far confirmed to perform at Waves Vienna, My Heart Belongs to Cecilia Winter and Velvet Two Stripes.

With Swiss Music Export to MaMA Paris 2013
The dates for this year’s MaMA conference/festival in Paris are 16 – 18 October 2013. Swiss Music Export and Fondation SUISA as partners of MaMA are able to offer a special discount price of 95 Euro instead of 135 Euro for the three-day-pass which allows entry to all MaMA events. So far, two Swiss bands are confirmed to appear at MaMA Paris: Oy and Mama Rosin. Mama Rosin, by the way, the punk-funk-cajun-blues trio from Geneva, have contributed their version of “Please Mister Postman” to “we’re with the beatles”, an album with cover versions of the whole of the second Beatles album attached to the August issue of UK’s music monthly Mojo.
