Eluveitie on Neckbreaker’s Ball Tour 2011

„Get Ready For Some Serious Headbanging“ – there couldn’t possibly be a more appropriate slogan for the fourth edition of the Neckbreaker’s Ball Tour leading six Metal bands through almost all of Europe. Beside headliners Dark Tranquillity, the 24-date-tour sees two Swiss acts on the bill: Eluveitie and Gurd.

Blending two contrary genres – traditional Folk and modern-day Melodic Death Metal – Eluveitie are responsible for the big break of Pagan Metal. Used to touring all over the world, they have just had finished the recordings for their follow-up album „Helvetios“ at Soundfarm Studios in Lucerne.

Active for over 15 years, Gurd are long since one of the iconic Metal bands in Switzerland. The Trash legends are releasing their new album „Never Fail“ on 28 October, just on the day the Neckbreaker’s Ball Tour starts.
