Voix de Fête
Besides m4music, there’s another key event in spring that you should not miss:
Voix de Fête, held in Geneva from 3 to 13 March 2011 featuring among others Anna Aaron, The Young Gods, Heidi Happy, Nicolas Fraissinet, Carrousel and Mosquito.
In 2011, its 13th year, the festival has decided to make a proper showing of its presence in the midst of Switzerland’s French-speaking metropolis with an attractive makeover featuring a belle époque yurt installed on the Plaine de Plainpalais, where fun with friends is priority number one. The "Magic Mirror" will host those festival activities that had previously been distributed throughout town and will allow guests to enjoy live radio and TV broadcasts, events specially tailored for young visitors, and encounters with professionals. And perhaps to dine pleasantly in the company of featured artists, who this year include Zaz, Gaëtan Roussel, Ben L’Oncle Soul, Camelia Jordana, Stromae, Arno, The Young Gods and literally dozens of others for a total of over one hundred acts! In partnership with Voix de Fête, Catalyse and Fondation CMA, Swiss Music Export is holding a salon contact for artists and professionals on Saturday, 12th March, there will also be showcases by Mr. Dame, Quartier Bon Son and Balabagui.
