The Beauty of Gemina

German chart-toppers UNHEILIG have been good for a sensation or two in 2010. Grosse Freiheit, their latest studio album and the fifth of its kind, has sold over 600,000 copies and spent 15 weeks as number one on the German charts – a record for a German album. The warm-up roster for their current tour of the biggest venues in the German-speaking world features among others Switzerland’s own The Beauty of Gemina, who have seized the opportunity to appear before total audiences of some hundreds of thousands people at 13 different shows. And there’s more: when the festival season gets underway the group will be appearing live at the UK’s Whitby Gothic Weekend as well as at MERA LUNA 2011, Germany’s biggest Wave/Gothic openair festival.
