Les TransVoisines 2010: Coming up strong!
In its third year now, the TransVoisines festival is still going strong and seems intent on taking the road less travelled with mobile concerts from Lyon to Lausanne, a programme featuring nothing but emerging artists, mixed bills of Swiss and French talent … in short: a truly original smorgasbord!
This year’s TransVoisines is no different, its course set resolutely for The Latest Thing: and whether that’s rock music by Raspail and Sarro, the airy folk of Anna Aaron, the mordant pop of Loren Lopez or blues-funk by Mark Kelly, you can’t afford to miss it.
Among the talent featured at the festival’s 16 concerts, with representatives of rock, pop, folk, electro, soul, funk etc. are plenty of names from French-speaking Switzerland as well as France itself. So get your tickets and come get an education!
