GREIS voted Best Swiss Act
The first artist signed to an independent label to be nominated “Best Swiss Act”, rapper GREIS gained more votes than the likes of Baschi, Marc Sway and Stefanie Heinzmann. He was subsequently competing against 20 other European artists, including Enrique Iglesias and Marina and The Diamonds, for the title “Best European Act”.
Alas at last Sunday night’s EMAs in Madrid the award was not handed out to Greis, but to Italian pop singer Marco Mengoni, a former winner of the Italian X Factor.
