TransVoisines Festival, 1.-15. November
Each fall, the TransVoisines Festival offers emerging musical talent from the Rhône-Alpes region of France and French-speaking Switzerland a jumping-off point, with first-rate stages, broad publicity and the chance to play for French and Swiss professionals in their field. This year’s TransVoisines comprises 20 concerts (with sounds as diverse as rock, chanson, reggae, electro, hip-hop and slam) uniting an artist from each of the two regions in ten days. This cross-border cross-pollination is mirrored by the audience as well, which moves between venues on either side of the national boundary.
