Swiss acts at Canadian Music Week 2009
Basel based artist/band Mañana is among a diverse group of independent musicians who were recently named as finalists of the 7th Annual Independent Music Awards. Mañana’s music is a mixture of melodic indie-pop with experimental elements, drawing their inspiration from Doves, Now It’s Overhead, Radiohead, Unbelievable Truth and other groundbreaking acts of recent years.

In April 2005 Heidi Happy started her solo career. By the end of 2006 she won a reward (Werkbeitrag) from the city and kanton of Lucerne, Switzerland, wherewith she produced her first album „back together“ on little jig records / irascible distribution.
