Headman new album „Catch Me“ out now
After amazing remixes for THE GOSSIP and CHROMEO the Berlin based ROCKDISCO pioneer from Zurich, Robi Insinna aka HEADMAN releases his third album . ‚Catch Me‘ on German label, Gomma. : A wild mix of hard drums, 70’s Disco, Hacienda Rave, and Housemusic. The first single CATCH ME IF U CAN is already on the KITSUNE/BOOMBOX compilation. DREAMPIECES features Jeremy Kerr – of UK whiteboy funk legends A CERTAIN RATIO.
Headman aka Robi Insinna is one of the originators of the new disco & punk-funk movement. Since he started his recording career 4 years ago on Gomma he has developed into one of the leaders of the new disco-rock scene. He has been asked to remix the singles of artists such as Franz Ferdinand, The Rapture, Roxy Music and Annie. The ‚It Rough‘ album came out in 2001 and was an exciting, organic, mostly instrumental disco album –which includes a good dose of ’70s rock influences as well as an elegant new wave vibe.
