Lunik at Popkomm 2006
Popkomm , from the 20th – 22nd of September in Berlin, is the international business platform for music & entertainment that attracts about 15.000 trade visitors and about 800 exhibitors from all over the world every year. Focusing the three sectors Exhibiton, Congress and Festival equally Popkomm creates synergies — also between the music core-market and music related branches like mobile entertainment or the live sector. The 18 Popkomm for the third time will take place in Berlin.
The Popkomm Music Festival happens in the heart of one of the most edgy club and music scenes in the world.
The new Lunik album will be released this September – the new single Little Bit is out now. The career of the band, with its charismatic leader Jaël, has been prepared very carefully. Finally, their patience has paid off – not only in Switzerland, where Lunik belong to the top league since their second album “Ahead”. With the single “Little Bit” and the corresponding video clip, Lunik are optimally promoting their new album “Preparing To Leave”, which will be released this autumn in Germany and Austria, too.
Many things seem to be new around Lunik – new management, new booking agency and especially the new formation: Leader Jaël and guitarist Luk Zimmermann are supported by bass player Jacob Suske and pianist Cédric Monnier, which have been touring with them for years. They also found a new drummer – Chrigel Bosshard
