OPEN AIR GAMPEL
18th – 21st August
http://www.openairgampel.ch
Every year thousands of visitors confirm Once Gampel – Always Gampel . But what is so special about this festival? Is it the qualitatively advanced musical programme? The organizers don’t usually show off with world stars, although a world star may slip into the programm occasionally. Is it the fact that very often Swiss bands get a chance to play at Gampel? Is it the festival site, beautifully situated in the Rhone valley, surrounded by mountains that intensify the thunderous sound of music? Or is it the well-known fact that the local people enjoy partying so much? No doubt, everything adds to this special atmosphere. And what really makes the difference between the Open-air Gampel and other festivals is this particular atmosphere in the heart of the Alps.
