Mimetic appears at MEG Montreal

The Geneva-based electronica pioneer Mimetic has been invited to perform at the MEG Montreal electronic music festival. He will be live on stage on Thursday, 21 July. On Sunday 24 July he will also perform at Montreal’s Piknic Elektronik.

Much travelled Jérome Soudan aka Mimetic has been involved in atmospheric techno experiments for two decades. A conservatory-trained pianist and once a member of the experimental outfit Art Zoyd, he has a special interest in orchestral percussion and electronic drumming. The MEG Montreal electronic music conference/festival was first held in 1999 and has since developed into one of the most important electronic events in North America.

Mimetic was booked to appear in Montreal when a representative of the festival, invited by Swiss Music Export, witnessed his set at Electron 2016 in Geneva.
