Laskaar releases debut EP “Never Met You”

“Never Met You” is the title of Laskaar’s debut EP, released via PIAS Germany/Cntct on 10 June. The tracks on the EP document an intense relationship from its first orgasmic flush right through, and past, its melancholy end. “Laskaar is a soul singer committed to harnessing modern soundscapes to articulate the limitless complexities and the depth of the human soul.” it says in the biography, and who are we to argue. His is a supple and velvety voice, but what really sets the singer apart from the rest is his ability to weave a strong mood with his subtle, spacious and yet dynamic arrangements of electronic beats and sounds.
