The Chikitas and Undiscovered Soul at Musexpo, 22 – 29 April 2015, Los Angeles

Musexpo is an international music, media and technology showcase conference taking place annually in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Two bands from Switzerland will be taking part in this year´s program, The Chikitas and Undiscovered Soul. Both bands, apart from playing Musexpo showcases, will also be performing at the House of Blues, and they will be working on their new albums with renowned local producers.

Fresh from winning the category Rock at this year´s m4music Demotape Clinic, Geneva-based female post-punk duo the Chikitas will be hitting the studio with Jim Waters who has in the past worked with Sonic Youth and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

Undiscovered Soul are a sextet playing classic, melodic rock with “big” choruses in the tradition of U2, Kings of Leon and Coldplay. They will be working with Grammy-winning producer Greg Collins whose pedigree includes Red Hot Chili Peppers, No Doubt, Eels and, yes, U2.
