Stevans celebrate new album in Paris

Electro-pop outfit Stevans from Geneva will celebrate the French release of their third album “Rupture” with a party in Paris. This will take place on March 25 at Le Nouveau Casino, 109 rue Oberkampf, Paris 11. The band will support the release throughout May and June with concerts in France, Switzerland and Italy.

Stevans were formed in 2005 by multi-instrumentalist and singer Yvan Franel as a vehicle to perform his songs. Still only a trio, the band released their Bertrand Siffert-produced debut album in 2006. Swiftly building a reputation as a strong live act, the group toured across Europe and performed at the CMJ festival in New York. Today, Stevans are a quartet, comprising Yvan Franel (vocals, keyboards, guitar, Yann Secrest (guitar), CJ Nicholson (bass) and Léo de Riedmatten (drums). “Rupture” was produced by Yann Franel and Serge Morattel. It will be available in France via Ipanema Music.
