Hell’s Kitchen touring France and the Netherlands

Formed around the turn of the century in Geneva, the trio of Bernard Monney (guitar, vocals), Christophe Ryser (double bass) and Cédric Taillefert, according to their Facebook page, use „rural roots, urban rock and tribal trance“ as the main ingredients of a new kind of blues. Driven by a similar spirit as fellow Genevans Mama Rosin, it comes as no surprise that their fifth album „Red Hot Land“ – the sixth, if you count a totally home produced debut they distributed amongst friends – was recently released on Moi J’Connais records, founded by Mama Rosin.

To promote „Red Hot Land“, Hell’s Kitchen will be on the road almost non-stop in the coming months. Following on from their appearance at the Eurosonic Noorderslag 2015, they will undertake an eight-date tour of France, including a live radio show on France Inter (20.01.2015; 21:00 – 23:00), before flying across the Atlantic for gigs in Canada. Come spring, they will be back in Europe, touring in Holland, Belgium, Germany, France and Switzerland.
