Me, Valentin and You – Debut Album and Tour in Germany
Me, Valentin and You are supporting the release of their debut album “If” with a seven date tour of Germany. Thanks mostly to word of mouth, the album has attracted an ever growing amount of attention since it was first made available in Switzerland in March. Produced by Dave Muther (Pablopolar, PTTM), it was mastered by Fred Kervorkian (Arctic Monkeys, Django Django, Franz Ferdinand etc).
Berne-based Me, Valentin and You were formed two years ago by singer/songwriter Valentin Kugler with musicians he had met whilst busking in his home town: Raphael Nussbaum (guitar), Martina Berther (bass) and Hannes Prisi (drums). The band are big on melody and memorable choruses. Starting from a classic rock song template, they add subtle touches of electronica and strings to make a sound influenced by the likes of Coldplay and Keane but also the xx very much their own.
