Delilahs serve up “Past True Lust”

26 September 2014 sees the release of Delilah’s third album, “Past True Lust”. Recorded at the Principal Studios in Münster, Germany (past clients: die Toten  Hosen, Söhne Mannheims, Broilers, etc), it was produced by Toni “Meloni” Loitsch. Delilahs (the “the” went missing a few years back as the result of a legal dispute) have always enjoyed their pop rough, sharp and catchy. This time round, they have found the perfect balance between youthful energy and experience.

Formed in 2003 by school pals Isabella Eder and Muriel Rhyner, the band began as an all-female trio playing sparky power pop with an infectious joie de vivre. Almost instantly they were feted across Switzerland, appearing at major festivals all over Europe. Various events beyond their control slowed down their progress somewhat. Reborn with Muriel’s brother Philipp on guitar and Daniel Fischer on bass, Delilahs have stuck to their original punky principles. “Anyone expecting bubble-bum pop from us will be sorely disappointed,” they say.

“Past True Lust” is released by the German label Jazzhouse Records in the GAS-countries.  A new single complete with video clip, “Wasteland”, has already been released. The band have set up a major tour of Germany to support the release.
